Accept payments using HitPay Bluetooth readers using HitPay's Android mobile app. You may follow the below instructions to connect and pair to WisePad 3 Bluetooth reader using the HitPay Mobile app.
Step 1. Switch on WisePad 3 Bluetooth reader by tapping on the power button:
Step 2. Launch the HitPay App and Navigate to Settings > Terminal:
Step 3. You are required to authorise permissions to pair with the reader, activate your device bluetooth, and location services:
Step 4. Select Terminal Type Wisepad 3 to proceed:
Step 5. Review the checklist again and tap Start Pairing for the app to discover terminals:
Step 6. Tap the discovered reader. You should only be connecting to your device serial number. Your device serial number is available in the packaging box sent to you or you can press the power button on the reader to view your device serial number:
Note: You will now see the below screen if a firmware update is required. This update is a mandatory update and typically requires upon first time connection and may be required on an ongoing basis:
Step 7: You will now see the reader as being in connected status and you are now ready to start accepting payments:
