Pre-requisites
- Enable Bluetooth from your iOS settings
- Enable Location Services under iOS settings
Accept payments using HitPay Bluetooth readers using HitPay's iOS mobile app. You may follow the below instructions to connect and pair to WisePad 3 bluetooth reader using HitPay Mobile app:
Step 1. Tap Settings in the iOS mobile app then tap Terminal:
Step 2. Select WisePad 3 in the list of readers providers under Device Type:
Step 3. Allow HitPay app to use Bluetooth, review checklist, then click Start Pairing:
Step 4. Tap on connect next to the discovered reader. Ensure that you are connecting to the correct reader by checking the serial number of the reader.
Note: If it's your first time connecting the reader to your device, you will be prompted to complete a firmware update. This process will take up to 10-15 minutes to complete. You may be prompted for firmware updates from time to time during normal as these are security related updates.
Step 5. You are now connected to the reader and ready to start charging payments:
