HitPay allows merchants to refund transactions from the HitPay dashboard.
Please ensure there is sufficient balance in your HitPay account (for non-card payments) and Stripe accounts (for card payments) to perform the refund. If you do not have sufficient balance in your HitPay account, you can top up using the guide here
Please take note of the refund processing time for each of the payment methods offered on HitPay:
*Refund function is currently not yet available for UPay Payment Method for Philippines-based merchants.
Refunds can be performed within an allowed time period. You may refer to this table for the maximum refund period for each payment method:
How to Perform Refund from HitPay dashboard
Step 1. Navigate to Sales and Reports > Transactions:
Step 2. Click on the transaction that you would like to refund:
Step 3. Click on the Refund button:If you would like to partially refund the transaction, enter the amount as highlighted below:
If you would like to fully refund the transaction, do not enter any refund amountStep 4. Click on the Confirm button and wait for the refund success message:
