Pre-requisites:
3. Enable Payment Methods in Sales Channel
Note: There will be an additional surcharge fee of 0.5% applied on Shopify transactions processed through HitPay
Steps to integrate:
Step 1: Search for HitPay from the list of providers in the payment settings then click Add or Install the HitPay App from the Shopify App Store by clicking on the following link: https://apps.shopify.com/hitpay-payment-gateway
Step 2: You will now be navigated to the HitPay dashboard where you will be prompted to enter your HitPay account details:
Step 3: Upon entering your login details, you will view the below page and click Continue:
Step 4: You will be redirected back to the Shopify admin, Click Manage:
Step 5: Enable/disable the payment method logos as you wish and scroll down to Activate App:
Kindly note that this step is only for the payment logos that would appear on your Shopify Checkout Page:

Since the HitPay Shopify Plugin is available for all HitPay-enabled countries, logos of all payment methods available in HitPay will be included on the list, regardless of the country where the payment method is available.
Please ensure that you only select the payment methods available in your country on Shopify checkout. This will prevent customer confusion and ensure smooth transactions."
Step 6: Choose payment methods you want to show to your customers on your Shopify Checkout by updating your Integration Settings for Shopify
To do this, head to HitPay dashboard > Payments > Plugins Integration > Click + New Integration > Choose Shopify and select the payment methods you wish to enable for Shopify:
Step 7: Once activated, the HitPay checkout option will appear on the customer checkout page as shown below:
Step 8: Done and go live!

Shopify testing - If you want to do testing in a test environment
If you want to test making transactions using HitPay plugin, you may enable test mode by checking the box.
Once turned on, only PayNow will be available for testing and all transactions are just simulated:

How to reconcile orders between Shopify and HitPay
All HitPay transactions done through Shopify generates a unique payment ID which is displayed in the HitPay transaction reports under Sales and Reports:
This payment ID can be located in the Shopify orders report under column BX:
