HitPay has launched an updated version of its payment gateway on Shopify.
The latest version allows HitPay merchants to accept all HitPay supported payment methods and perform refunds for payments directly from the Shopify admin.
Note: If you are using the old version of the HitPay Payment Gateway on Shopify, you may deactivate the old gateway and install the new app by following the instructions below
Pre-requisites
1. Create a free HitPay account
3. Enable Payment Methods in Sales Channel
Step 1 : Install the HitPay App from the Shopify App store by clicking on the link below
https://apps.shopify.com/hitpay-payment-gateway
Step 2 : Once you land on the app page, click on Add App
Step 3: You will now be navigated to the HitPay dashboard where you will be prompted to enter your HitPay account details
Upon entering your login details, you will view the below page and click on Continue
Step 4: You will now be redirected back to the Shopify admin. Enable / disable the payment method logos as you wish and scroll down to Activate App
Once activated, the HitPay checkout option will appear on the customer checkout page as shown below
How to reconcile orders between Shopify and HitPay
All HitPay transactions done through Shopify generates a unique payment id which is displayed in the HitPay transaction reports under Sales and Reports.
This payment id can be located in the Shopify orders report under column BX
