At HitPay, we offer custom rates to support the growth of our merchants. This Custom Rates Policy outlines the conditions under which merchants may qualify for and continue to enjoy custom rates.
1. Qualification Criteria
Merchants may qualify for custom rates based on their transaction volume performance. The qualifying thresholds are:
Country | Minimum Average Monthly Volume (Last 6 Months) |
---|---|
Singapore (SG) | S$50,000 |
Philippines (PH) | ₱500,000 |
Malaysia (MY) | RM50,000 |
Indonesia (ID) | IDR 200,000,000 |
All Other Countries | US$35,000 |
Merchants must maintain an average monthly volume above the relevant threshold based on the most recent 3 to 6 months of transaction activity.
2. Ongoing Eligibility
-
If a merchant's average monthly volume falls below the stated threshold over the last 3 consecutive months, HitPay reserves the right to revert the merchant to standard published rates without further negotiation.
-
In cases where 3 months is not sufficiently clear (e.g., seasonal fluctuation), HitPay may assess over the last 6 months. If the 6-month average still falls below the threshold, standard rates will apply.
3. Agreements and Communications
-
If HitPay and a merchant have executed a formal Merchant Agreement that explicitly specifies custom rates or margins, the rates outlined in that Agreement will apply for the duration of the agreed term.
-
In the absence of a formal Agreement, any explicit rate commitment made by HitPay over written channels (including but not limited to email or chat) will be governed by this Custom Rates Policy and subject to ongoing volume monitoring as per Section 2 above.
4. HitPay’s Right to Review and Update
-
HitPay reserves the right to review merchant volumes periodically and adjust pricing accordingly, in line with this policy.
5. Exceptions for Partner-Onboarded Merchants
-
Merchants who have been onboarded through specific HitPay partner programs will continue to enjoy custom rates even if their volumes fall below the standard thresholds.
-
For such merchants, the minimum volume thresholds outlined in Section 1 do not apply.
-
The continued eligibility of these merchants for custom rates remains subject to the terms of the partner arrangement and HitPay's overall right to review pricing for regulatory, operational, or commercial reasons.
