How do I get a breakdown of transactions included in a payout?

Every HitPay account has two wallets for balances and payouts, the HitPay Balance and Card Balance, which has their corresponding payouts, the HitPay payouts and Card payouts. 

Balances: 

1. Hitpay Balance - all payments from all payment methods except Cards
2. Card Balance - all payments processed using Stripe payment method (Cards and Alipay)

Payouts: 

1. HitPay payouts - corresponding payout of the HitPay balance
2. Card payouts - corresponding payout of the Card balance

Payouts are processed according to the payout schedule per payment method, which can be found here. 

HitPay Balance Payouts 

HitPay Balance Payouts can be paid automatically or manually and more details can be found here. Kindly note that payout breakdown reports are not available if your payout schedule is set to Manual. A breakdown of transactions associated with a payout can be exported directly from your HitPay dashboard by following the steps below:

Step 1. Navigate to Bank Payouts > HitPay balance: 

Step 2. Click Download > the file will be downloaded on your computer files. 

Below is a screenshot of a sample payout breakdown: 

• Date column states the Transaction date
• Description column states the description and Transaction ID 
• Debit and Credit columns show the amount of transaction 
• Balance column shows the running balance after every transaction

Card Balance Payouts

A HitPay account may have either a Standard Stripe account connected to HitPay or a Custom Stripe account under HitPay.

1. Standard Stripe Account owners - those HitPay accounts created before March 2022 had the option to connect their own Stripe account to their HitPay accounts
2. Custom Stripe Account owners - those HitPay accounts created after March 2022 were automatically created a custom Stripe account under HitPay 

Standard Stripe Account Owners:

To view the list of HitPay transactions associated with an automatic Stripe bank payout, follow the steps below:

Step 1. Login to your stripe account and navigate to Payments > Payouts as shown below:

Step 2. Click on the payout whose related charges you would like to view:

Step 3. Scroll down to view the transactions associated with the payout and click on a transaction to view the associated HitPay transaction ID: 

Step 4. You can locate the HitPay transaction ID under Metadata: 

Custom Stripe Account owners: 

Step 1. Navigate to your HitPay dashboard > Bank Payouts > Card Balance: 

Step 2. Click download to export the breakdown for the specific payout. 

Attached is a sample Card payout breakdown: 

• Datetime column states the Transaction Date
• Description column states the description and Transaction ID 
• Charge ID column states the Transaction/Charge ID 
• Payout ID column states the Payout ID
• Debit and Credit columns state the net amount after transaction fee per transaction
