HitPay's user management system can be found in the HitPay Dashboard under Settings > User Management
HitPay account owners can add additional users to act as Admin, Manager or Cashier. There are currently no limits to the number of users that can be added.
Definition of Roles
Owner:
- Full access to all dashboard
- Has access to invite new users
- Has access to remove any user including “admin”
- Can add more than 1 “admin” per business
- Can access all reports and will receive notifications
- Can access "Sales and Reports" across all location and users
Admin:
- Full access to dashboard
- Has access to invite new users with role (manager / cashier)
- Cannot remove other “admins”
- Can access all reports and will receive notifications
- Can access "Sales and Reports" across all location and users
Manager:
- Cannot change bank account details - View only
- Cannot change API keys - View Only
- If assigned to a Location, manager is only able to see transactions and export reports from their assigned locations
Cashier:
- Cashier can only accept payments using
- “Point of Sale”
- “Recurring billing”
- "Invoicing"
- Can access "Sales and Reports" but only view transactions made under their own account
Accepting Invitation to access HitPay as Admin, Manager or Cashier
Upon being invited to access HitPay as admin, manager or cashier, the user will receive an email as shown below.
Upon clicking on View Invitation, the invited user will be directed to create the user account as shown below
The invite user can click on the Accept button and start accessing HitPay
