When you start processing live payments from your customers with HitPay, you will receive the corresponding payouts to your bank account according to a specified schedule.
You can view the list of all of your payouts, their corresponding dates, and payout breakdown reports by navigating to your HitPay dashboard > Bank Payouts page.
There are two main categories of payouts you will receive for your HitPay transactions:
1. HitPay balance payouts - for all your non-card and cross border payment methods transactions
2. Card balance payouts - for all card payment method transactions
HitPay balance and payouts
HitPay balance includes all transactions you will process using domestic non-card and cross border payment methods. See below for list:
Domestic Payment Methods
Cross border Payment Methods
Availability of payment methods vary depending on your country of business registration. Navigate to your HitPay dashboard > Payment Methods to see list of payment methods that can be activated for your account.
A. Domestic Payment Methods - HitPay balance and payouts
All payments processed through Domestic Payment Methods are paid out by HitPay, excluding payouts for Indonesia-based merchants which are processed by our payment partner, Doku. Each payment will be added to the Pending balance first, then will be moved to Available balance once confirmed.
Available balance consists of all transactions that have been confirmed, while Pending balance consists of all transactions that are yet to be confirmed and released to your balance. Only funds in Available balance can be used for any refunds and payouts. Any amount in the Pending balance is not yet available to be paid out or be used for any transaction refunds. Relatively, their corresponding transactions cannot be refunded until the payments are confirmed. Refer here for confirmation period per payment method:
examples:
1. You receive a $100 PayNow payment on March 3 with $2 transaction fee. The net amount of $98 is immediately released to your Available balance, and the payment can be refunded anytime within the allowable refund period. Similar case if you receive a PHP 100 QRPH payment on March 3 with PHP20 transaction fee. The net amount of PHP 80 is immediately released to your Available balance.
2. You are a Singapore-based merchant and you received a $100 Grabpay payment on March 3 2:00 PM with $2 transaction fee. The net amount of $98 will be held in your Pending balance until March 3 11:59 PM. Within this time frame, you will also not be able to process a refund for this specific transaction. The amount $98 will be moved to your Available balance 1 calendar day after the transaction date, by March 4 12:00 AM, and will be included on your next scheduled HitPay payout.
3. You are a Malaysia-based merchant and you received a 100 MYR ShopeePay payment on March 3 with 2 MYR transaction fee. The net amount of 98 MYR will be held in your Pending balance until March 4 11:59 PM. The amount 98 MYR will be moved to your Available balance 2 calendar days after the transaction date, by March 5 12:00 AM, and will be included on your next scheduled HitPay payout.
B. Cross Border Payment Methods - HitPay balance and payouts
All payments processed through Cross Border Payment Methods are paid out by HitPay. When you transact using a cross border payment method, a wallet will be created for your account based on its corresponding currency. Each payment will be added to the Pending balance first, then will be moved to Available balance once confirmed.
All Cross border transactions are confirmed 5 calendar days after the transaction date, hence all funds will remain in the pending balance for 5 calendar days before it will be moved to Available balance for any payouts and refunds:
example:
1. You are a Malaysia-based merchant and transacted with your Singaporean customer in SGD using PayNow payment method. The customer paid $100 with a transaction fee of $2 on March 7 11:00 AM. The net amount of $98 will remain in your SGD pending balance for 5 calendar days, until March 11, 11:59 PM. The amount will be moved to your SGD available balance by March 12, 12:00 AM. By then, you can click the Convert to MYR button to convert the SGD funds to your home currency (MYR for this case), and the converted amount will be included on your next scheduled HitPay payout.
Card balance and payouts
Card balance includes all transactions you will process using cards. This includes any Visa, Mastercard, American Express, UnionPay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and FPX (for Malaysia) payments.
Minimum Payout: The minimum payout amount (after deducting fees) is dependent on your country of registration. You may check Stripe's article relating to minimum payout amount.
Card payout schedule differs by account and country, based on various factors including standard payout processing time in your region and the HitPay Compliance team's assessment of your business. To confirm your specific Card payout schedule, please consult your designated account manager or HitPay support team.
