Notes:
Why do I need to top up?
- Insufficient Balances for Card Refunds: When the available balance in your Stripe account is not adequate to complete a refund. This situation may arise if the funds have already been paid out to you or if fees were incurred during the payment processing, resulting in a deficit.
- Negative Balances Due to Chargebacks and Fees: In cases where chargebacks occur, and associated fees are applied, your account balance may become negative. To resolve this, a top-up is needed to bring the balance back to positive.
By ensuring sufficient funds through top-ups, you can maintain smooth transactions, handle refunds effectively, and address any negative balances that may arise due to chargebacks and fees.
Timing of refunds after top-ups
After successfully topping up your balance, we kindly request that you wait for an acknowledgment confirming that your balances have been updated accordingly.
Upon receiving the acknowledgment, we urge you to process the refund within the same day, before midnight. This timely action is essential to prevent the balances from being paid out to your account, which would then hinder your ability to initiate a refund.
