There are different ways to process and receive transactions using HitPay payment gateway. The two main channels of payments processed via HitPay are online payments and point of sale/in-person payments.

Online Payments
These are the payments completed by ultimately redirecting a customer to a payment checkout page/link. These are usually generated by creating a direct Payment Link, creating an Invoice, checking out from the Hitpay Online Shop, website checkout using integration plugins for Shopify, Woocommerce, Wix, etc., and via direct API integration to a custom-built website.
Point of Sale/In-Person Payments
These are the payments completed using the Point of Sale feature via Web dashboard or HitPay POS app. Most of the time, merchants are using card reader terminals to process these payments.
