With HitPay Inventory Sync, Shopify store owners can seamlessly sync their products from Shopify to Hitpay.
Pre-requisites
- All products must have a SKU
- Your HitPay account home currency must match the Shopify shop's default currency
- You can only sync products from 1 Shopify location to HitPay
Sync Schedule
- HitPay syncs to Shopify within 1-2 minutes
- Shopify syncs data automatically to HitPay daily at 8 AM SGT or click on the Sync now button under Online Store > Inventory Sync
Why use HitPay Inventory Sync?
With HitPay Inventory Sync, you can easily import products from your Shopify store onto the HitPay platform. This will allow you to process Product transactions via HitPay without having the need to manually add your products list to your HitPay account.
Inventory Sync Setup Guide:
- Invite HitPay to complete the integration OR
- Do it yourself (DIY) method
Invite HitPay to complete the integration for you
Step 1: Install the HitPay payment app from the Shopify store from the following link: https://apps.shopify.com/hitpay-payment-gateway
Step 2: Send an email to support@hit-pay.com with Subject: Shopify Inventory Sync Assistance notifying HitPay that you have completed step 1.
Step 3: HitPay will send an invite to you to access your store. You should receive this invite in your email sent by Shopify
Step 4: HitPay will complete the integration and notify you once done
Do it yourself (DIY) method
Navigate to Online Shop > Inventory Sync:
Click on Enable and wait for 3-5 seconds for a window to pop up:
The below window now requires you to input API keys and your Shopify store URL. Both values can be obtained from the Shopify Store admin:

Navigate to Apps from left menu in your Shopify Store Admin:
Click Develop Apps:
Click Create an app:
Input a name for the app (e.g. HitPay Inventory Sync) and click on Create an app:
Click on Configure Admin API scopes:
Enter Inventory in the search box as shown below and provide write inventory and read inventory access by checking the boxes:
Enter products in the search box as shown below and provide write products and read products access by checking the boxes:
Lastly, enter orders in the search box as shown below and provide write products and read products access by checking the boxes:
If you click on Selected, you should be able to view all the permissions and access granted for the app. Click on the SAVE button and click on Install App:
Click on API credentials and scroll down to copy the Admin API access token. The access token will then be pasted in the Inventory Sync settings in the HitPay dashboard:
Paste the API keys in the field highlighted below:
Add the shop name in the second field as shown below:
The shop name is in the format example.myshopify.com, in which 'example' is your shop name.
To locate the shop name, click on Settings from the Shopify admin and you will be able to locate it under the store name:
Click Connect, and wait for the sync to be completed. Once the sync is completed, you will received an email confirmation from HitPay.
