All your transactions are displayed by default on the Transaction History page which can be viewed by clicking the Sales and Reports menu on the app:
What is displayed on the Transaction History page?
The transaction history page displays a record of all the charges that you have made to your customers via the HitPay app. The records that are displayed on the transaction history list depends on the role of your account.

Owner/Admin |
Owners and Admins are able to view all past transactions regardless of location and user |
Manager |
By default, Managers are able to view all past transactions regardless of location and user. However, if a Manager is assigned to location(s), they are only able to view transactions from those locations. |
Cashier |
Cashiers are only able to view past transactions made by their own account. |
Searching & Filtering Transactions
To help you easily search for past transactions, you can simply use our search field. We support searching transactions by description and amount as keywords.
Furthermore, you can use different types of filters to change which transactions are displayed. You can do the following with transaction filters:
- Filter by date
- Filter by status (succeeded, refunded, partially refunded, void)
- Filter by location
Viewing Transaction Details
When you click on one of the transactions from the list, you can view the transaction detail and order details in one page.
In this page, you can check the order breakdown (products, surcharge, tax, tips, discounts). You can also view the transaction amount and payment method used. If you haven't attached a customer, you can do so by clicking on the Add customer button below the page.
Sharing receipts of past transactions
From the transaction details page, simply click the Share Receipt button. You can do one of the following actions:
- Print a receipt using receipt printer
- Send an email receipt
- Send an SMS receipt
