Steps on how to add Google Analytics:
Step 1. Sign up for a Google Analytics account
- Go to https://analytics.google.com/analytics/web/provision/#/provision
- Click Start Measuring and follow the steps to create an account
- After you create an account, you'll be taken to the Google Analytics dashboard
Step 2. Get Your Measurement ID
- Click the Admin button in the bottom left corner of the page
- Select the account and property you want to track
- Click Data Streams
- Select option Web for platform
- Enter your HitPay store URL and the name of your store
- Click on Create Stream
- Copy your Measurement ID
Step 3. Add the Measurement ID to Your HitPay Online Store
- Log in to your HitPay dashboard
- Navigate to Online Store > Settings
- Enable Google Analytics
- Paste the measurement ID you copied from Google Analytics
- Save the changes
Step 4. Verify the Connection
- Go back to your Google Analytics account
- Click the Home button
- Wait a few minutes and refresh the page to see if your store is being tracked
Note: It may take up to 24 hours for your data to start appearing in Google Analytics.
