HitPay can only be used for lawful purposes. Businesses that offer illegal products or services are not eligible to use HitPay. While the types of businesses listed in this Product Policy are representative, they are not exhaustive, and we reserve our right to deny our services to any customers who exceed our risk tolerance and impose additional restrictions.
Compliance with Relevant Laws. By interacting with us, visiting our platforms, or accessing the services, you acknowledge and agree that our platforms may be used internationally and the sale of certain items may be prohibited by laws outside of the country in which you are based. You agree that it is your sole responsibility to comply with the relevant laws in the conduct of your business.
Prohibited Products and Services
You may not use HitPay and its services for products and services that:
- in any way breaches any applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations, or cause HitPay to breach any applicable laws or regulations
- are in any way unlawful or fraudulent, or has any unlawful or fraudulent purpose or effect
- are for the purpose of harming or attempting to harm minors in any way are discriminatory, derogatory in any way, or encourage violence, hatred or religious or racial intolerance;
- are sexual in nature
- are involved in human trafficking, child labour and prostitution
- deal in harmful programs such as viruses, spyware, or similar computer code designed to adversely affect the operation of any computer software or hardware
- are investment interests such as bonds, stocks, or other securities
- are related to lottery, gambling, or contests
- in any way that would locally or internationally evade any applicable taxes or facilitate tax evasion.
Prohibited Businesses
HitPay cannot be used for any of the following activities:
- Illegal products and/or services
- any business or organisation that provides products/services that are discriminatory, derogatory, encourage violence, hatred, religious, racial intolerance, and terrorism
- constitute the making of and/or the supply of any form of drugs (whether of medical nature or not)
- involve the re-sale of personal information
- relating to fake references and/or foster deception
- devices that are designed to block, jam or interfere with cellular and personal telecommunication devices, signals, decryption, and descrambler products
- sale of prohibited animals and animal products
- any other products and/or services that are in violation of law in the jurisdictions where your business is located or targeted to
- Infringe intellectual property rights
- counterfeit goods, replicas or those infringing on intellectual property rights
- sales or distribution of music, movies, software, or any other licensed materials without appropriate authorisation
- unauthorised sale of brand names or designer products/services
- any other that directly infringe or facilitate infringement upon the trademark, patent, copyright, trade secrets, proprietary or privacy rights of any third party
- Products/services that are unfair, predatory, or deceptive
- any business or organisation offering or disseminating fraudulent goods, services, schemes or promotions, such as make-money-fast schemes
- any business or organisation involved in pyramid schemes
- merchants engaged in any form of deceptive marketing practices including but
not limited to:- hidden disclosures
- fake claims and endorsements
- pre-checked opt-in boxes
- refund or cancellation avoidance
- poorly disclosed negative options
- negative response marketing
- any business or organisation offering the sales of online traffic or engagement such as social media "click farms"
- any other businesses that HitPay considers unfair, deceptive, or predatory towards consumers
- Products/services that are relating to adult entertainment websites and contents
- are sexual, adult-oriented, provocative, culturally inappropriate or offensive in nature
- pornography
- companion/escort services or prostitution services
- sexually-oriented establishments (sensual massages, topless bars, strip clubs, etc)
- are sexual, adult-oriented, provocative, culturally inappropriate or offensive in nature
- Certain legal services
- products and/or services that constitute regulated activities, such as bail bond services, security brokers and/or bankruptcy attorneys
- Products/services relating to firearms, explosives and dangerous materials
- firearms, explosive devices, ammunition, weapons, guns, rifles, shotguns, pistols, knives or other sanctioned items and investments relating to the same
- peptides, industrial and research chemicals, and other toxic, flammable and radioactive materials
- Products/ services relating to betting and gambling or transactions involving games of chance
- online gambling, lotteries, games of chance, sports forecasting, odd-making, or anything related to the gambling business
- Marijuana-related products and/or services
- cannabis products
- cannabis dispensaries and related businesses
- products containing any amount of cannabidiol or tetrahydrocannabinol
- any other products or services related to legal marijuana trade
- Tobacco and other smokable products
- tobacco products, cigarette substitutes and e-cigarettes, and e-liquids, including but not limited to cigarettes, cigars, pipes and chewing tobacco
- Financial and professional services
- products and/or services that relate to financial investments or which could constitute investment products such as bonds, stocks or other securities
- security brokers and investments of any kind, like the purchase of securities, currencies, derivatives, commodities, shares, foreign currencies, options, other financial instruments or precious metals
- products and/or services that involve the purchase, sale or distribution of credit lines, foreign exchange, bank notes, money, bonds, digital currency, or other security
- Digital assets and cryptocurrencies
- products and/or services that constitute a form of currency including but not limited to, virtual and cryptocurrencies, crypto assets, non-fungible tokens, mining services, and other forms of digital tokens such as Bitcoin and Ethereum
- Other products and/or services relating to:
- the re-sale of event tickets, healthcare discount plans, membership programs or other similar activity
- wholesale trade of precious stones and metals
Restricted Businesses
Restricted Businesses. The following categories of businesses are deemed high risk by HitPay and HitPay may require further documentation or conduct further reviews before the HitPay Account can be fully opened for transactions. You must not use HitPay's Platforms and Services for the activities listed in Clause 5 (Restricted Businesses) unless you have received our prior written approval. Additional categories of restricted businesses may be imposed from time to time through card network rules, requirements of financial partners, or due to compliance and legal obligations.
Reviews. If your business falls into one of the restricted categories, please contact us by writing to support@hitpay.com. HitPay will review the applications and approve restricted business categories on a case-by-case basis.
- Regulated Industries. Highly regulated businesses constitute HitPay's restricted businesses, including but not limited to the following activities:

- financial products and/or services, such as;
- lending services;
- Buy Now Pay Later services;
- crowdfunding;
- debt collection agencies;
- insurance services;
- money service businesses;
- neobanks or challenger banks; and/or
- other financial institutions;
- government or public services, such as;
- government payments, service delivery or grants; and/or
- embassy, foreign consulate, or other foreign governments;
- pharmaceuticals and medical devices, such as;
- online pharmacies;
- prescription-only products including card-not-present pharmaceuticals;
- prescription-only and regulated medical devices; and/or
- medical and aesthetic products which must be licensed and approved by corresponding registries (e.g. the Health Sciences Authority in Singapore); and/or
- alcohol and liquor-related products and/or services, including businesses which require licences for retail sale or clearances on the sale of alcohol and liquor-related products beyond usual hours.
- financial products and/or services, such as;
- Businesses with Elevated Financial Risks. Businesses that may pose elevated financial risks constitute HitPay's restricted businesses, which include the following business categories:
- travel and tourism;
- travel and tour reservation services,
- airlines and cruises;
- high-value goods and luxury items, including but not limited to the retail sale of fine jewellery and watches;
- charities and non-profit organisations, including but not limited to religious organisations, charities, societies and other associations; and/or
- other business activities, including but not limited to:
- consulting and training services;
- real estates and constructions;
- products and/or services related to online gaming industries; and/or
- shipping and trade activities such as shipping brokers, forwarding brokers and drop shipping.

This Product Policy may be revised as published from time to time on the website. You agree to be responsible for checking the website from time to time to take notice of any changes made as they are legally binding. Some of the provisions contained in this Product Policy may also be superseded by provisions or notices published elsewhere on any of the Platforms.
