With every successful payment, you can provide customers with a digital receipt (text message or email) or a printed receipt. Each receipt will contain a breakdown of the order line items with relevant discounts, surcharge or taxes applied to it.
Send Text Receipts

Complete the checkout process by by processing your customer’s card or any other preferred payment method.

If payment is successful, you will be able to see a Payment Success screen.

Below the prompt, "How would you like to receive your receipts?", tap on Text.

Have your customer select their correct country code and enter their phone number

Tap Send.
Note: Currently Text receipts is only available for Singapore, Malaysia and USA numbers
6. Your customer will receive an SMS containing a link from receipt.hit-pay.com/uniquecode
7. Upon opening the link, your customer will see the breakdown of their order:
If a customer doesn’t receive a text message receipt, one or more of the following may have occurred:

The customer doesn’t have a valid text messaging plan.

The customer’s phone carrier has blocked the text.
- The customer's phone number is outside of HitPay's supported region.
When this happens, you can send the receipt to a valid email address instead.
Resend Text Receipts
You can resend a receipt to a different phone number at any time from your HitPay POS:
1. Go to Menu > Sales & Reports
2. Tap on a specific transaction you would like to resend a receipt
3. Click on Text Receipt
4. Key in your customer's correct country code and phone number.
5. Tap Send
